Manufactured between July 1962 and August 1968, the S1a was the "end of the line" for the pre-spotmatic series of Pentax SLR cameras.
Everything appears to work as designed except that the shutter curtain hangs up and fails to fully close. (See red arrow on second to last photo) - Likely needs a clean and lube.
My intent in selling this item is not for its use, but to be a visual display piece in a collection. I have not used it, nor is my intent for you to do so.
Comes with a body cap but there is no lens included.
