This is an antique, early, old and original, wood, painted gold trade sign number "0", or zero. The number is backed with tin. The number stands 16" tall and measures 12" wide. The thickness of the wood is approx. 1 1/2". There are scuffs and dings on the gold finish, appropriate wear to a sign of this age. Probably late 1800's, early 1900's.
