Selling this AKG C-414 EB vintage microphone. This C-414 has the original Brass CK-12 capsule inside, it sounds great. Included with this mic is the original AKG C-414 microphone clip, case and new old stock AKG H85 shock mount. Microphone has been tested and sounds great. Overall condition is very good, it has only seen studio use and it has been with one owner since new. The general impression is of a mic that has been in good hands. The capsule has not been reskinned and is in original condition. There is some age related dust on the capsule and it has a minimal difference between the front and back membrane. After hearing many original CK-12 capsules i have come to the conclusion that this is a standard affair with original CK-12 capsules. I have made the choice to leave it in original condition because its sounds good to my ears. You are welcome to test this mic in my workshop. Please understand that the difference is not a defect.
