An amalgamation of two Original Helios Consoles (Island Basing Street Studio 2 and Hook End Manor / Alvin Lee ) with subsequent modifications 

Installed in the UK from 1996 the console boasts an unprecedented history of hit records and sounds superb


38 channels Helios Type ’69 Mic/EQ

24 buss routing with 4 echo sends & 2 fold-back sends 

Switchable separate pre and post EQ insert sends and returns

Additional 6 mono Helios line inputs on centre faders

24 channel monitoring with 6 group outs and 4 mono or 2 Stereo fold-back Sends 

8 X onboard signal processors comprising 

  • 4 X Mono A&D 760 compressors
  • 4 X Mono Helios 5056 EQ’s

Separate power supplies 

Rear console wooden speaker rests (Speakers shown not included) 


Housed in a winged wrap-around frame made from plywood and blockboard with mahogany veneer and green leatherette  


Racking to the left wing for 6U of outboard equipment 


The console has been tested by Helios Technician Mick McKenna, who boasts decades of experience in maintaining Helios Consoles.  

Mick worked at Olympic Studios in the late 60’s alongside Helios’ creator, Dick Swettenham and maintained The Rolling Stones Mobile Helios Studio for over a decade 


The console is setup and available to be viewed
