This LONG 42" DUFFEL BAG is unique in that has an 18" HOOD allowing the bag to hold something up to 60".
The hood is nylon so not as strong as the rest of the bags material, but actually fit my golf bag in it with the golf bags hood snapped on and it fit with the nylon hood covering it up. I would suggest using the extra bag hood cover for sure.
It measures 10" across. You only have the one large cavity zipped up, plus the other option where the 18" HOOD is providing for another storage compartment tucked inside instead. It's zipped up with a net like cover. See the photos.
Inside the large cavity are two zipped up pockets, one is 13"x 8", And the other is smaller, 7" x 4 ". Provided is a long strap to attach to each end hooks for a shoulder harness to carry. And two more straps to wrap over the top birth binding together also for grabbing with one hand.
The first photo shows the bag folded up for storage or packing. The dimensions then are 15" x 13" x 4" when squashed down and weighs 2 lbs. 15 ozs. by itself.
