100% custom designed, 3d printed replacement cup holder. Designed and made in the U.S. Made to replace 1C0862531A.
Over time the original VW cupholders may begin to degrade. Wanting to keep my Beetle looking nice I began to look around for replacements. Others are selling old, used, cracked OEM cupholders for $20 each. New ones cost $60 EACH from the dealership. Thats if you can find them in stock, which is becoming rare.
I'm a long time Beetle owner and this was excessive to me. I wanted to make good looking, rugged, cupholders for a more reasonable price. In fact the pic with the black cups and grey console is in my Beetle where I use these every day.
So now you can get a new more functional cupholder made by a Beetle owner.

-Colors: Originally only in Black, Ive been working hard on making new colors available. Now we have Black, Red, Green, Dark Blue, Shiny Grey, and now Dark Grey. Other colors can be created to complement, accent your interior if you like.
-Drop me a note if you would like custom versions to match your look. (Another plus of dealing with a small custom producer.) Several different colors have been used on customer requests.

Sleek design fits cans, bottles, and coffee cups snugly. Doesn't require the rubber liner of the originals which quickly degrades and fails, leaving you with drinks rattling around loose and falling out.
Made of high quality ABS plastic for durability. The same material as the original OEM VW interior parts. These are double walled and solid.
-Drop tested from 6 feet onto concrete.

Tested to withstand hours at 175f degrees:
-Maintains Shape
-Continues to fit and doesn't warp, sag, or shrink out of tolerance
-Can be handled to at least that temp
Attachment clips are custom designed & separately printed to increase strength.
-Other 1 piece cupholders can leave the clips as the weakest point, splitting apart, especially in summer high temperatures. It is harder to make this way, but I do it to massively increase their strength & longevity.
-Many other aftermarket designs have course ridges that can damage your cars plastic clips. These are designed with an angled ridge to smoothly install and help minimize wear.
-These are made of ABS, the same as your car's interior.
-Others here on Ebay are printing a stock design found on the web, which doesn't fit as well. These are custom designed, and every one is tested on an original beetle console to guarantee the fit.
- Longevity: as of 2023 I still have my original cupholder set in my own daily driver beetle over 5 years now. I also have placed them in a sun-facing window for that time and noticeable fading hasn't occurred.

These are individually printed and assembled, so some variation in surface can be expected. Stock listed is printed and in stock. Refund of purchase price but not shipping available for 14 days if they don't meet your needs and expectations. Just return the item and optionally let me know the reason for the return so I can fix it in my design.
