PHOTO:
What we have here is an original, antique cabinet photo of a saloon from Westfield, Wisconsin from May 1908. This bar is chock-full of details and things of interest, which makes it perfect for a collector, a fan, a historian, or just a weirdo who likes looking at this sort of a thing.

From left to right, the points of interest (to my mind) are as such:
There are two boys at the end of the bar. To the right of the boys is the Union Bar sign and a calendar for a L. Fuldner Co. (probably). After that are the two bartenders/possible owners, who are posed underneath a bunch of old lithos, as well as a milk bottle lamp light for a whisky company. To the right of the bar is another calendar, this one is for the C.E. Geiseler cigar company out of Portage, Wisconsin. Then there is a rack of three lithos, the top one is for the Blatz Brewing Co, then two more ads for a company that I cannot determine (also probably Blatz). Then you have a phone and, on the far right, is a large sign/ad for Anheuser-Busch and just below that is a poster that reads "Democratic Candidates" (this is for the 1908 presidential election. Presumably one of them is William Jennings Bryant). Lastly, in front of the Anheuser-Busch ad and election poster is a large and luxurious cigar cabinet.

On the back, in pencil, are the words "1908" and "Westfield, Wis." They are each written in different hand and with different pencils. Make of that what you will.

The location and age of the photo are set in stone by the various ads and details that are packed into the saloon. There are two calendars (one of which clearly states the month and year). There are also several local companies advertised around the bar. And, lastly, if you haven't figured it out, there was a presidential election in 1908 and there is a campaign poster of the candidates on the right-hand side.

So, as you can see, a lot of details. A lot of points of interests. A great little vision into a particular point and time in the American past.

CONDITION:
Good Shape. Photo's fae has some light bubbling, as well as some discoloration. No major problems, really, but, yeah, it could be in better shape. I'll admit. The backing board, though, is in great shape, with a little bit of wear at the corners, but that's kind of it. Not perfect, but overall a great piece for a collector. Displays well! See photos for fuller details. Pet/Smoke/DDD free.

SIZE:
Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Same size as the backing board.

SHIPPING:
USPS First Class Mail. Will ship safe and secure. Can combine upon request! Also, unfortunately, the price of postage has gone up, which means that so are my costs! Let me know if you have any special needs or anything else. I'm an open book!
ETC:
