Lab Putters Features & Details
• The Stroke Lab line of putters incorporates a unique new method of
weight distribution designed to improve the physical dynamics of the
stroke. Stroke Lab putters improve the stroke through a profound
change in weight distribution made possible by this innovative new
shaft.
• The Stroke Lab shaft is a full 40 grams lighter, an innovative new
multi-material shaft design that combines a graphite body with a
steel tip to net out at just 75g, with most of the mass concentrated
in the tip. That saved weight allows Odyssey to add 10g to the head
in the form of two sole weights, and adding 30g to the grip-end via
a 10g-lighter grip and 40g end-weight
• Feel for the putterhead becomes more acute, helping the golfer
repeat the same, smooth stroke time after time.
• Slightly stiffer and lower torque for increased control of the
slightly heavier head.
• The White Hot Microhinge Face Insert combines legendary White Hot
feel with dozens of micro hinges embedded across the face that
promote topspin for smooth roll and acute distance control.
• Odyssey's Slant and Flow necks create a toe hang putter to
encourage more arc and face rotation.
Tends to work best for golfers who have more face rotation in their
putting stroke or are looking to increase the amount of face
rotation. For golfers who tend to miss putts to the right (toe hang
helps close the face at impact if you have a tendency to leave it
open).
• Odyssey's Double Bend shaft creates a face-balanced putter (the
face pointing up to the sky). Tends to work better for players who
have minimal face rotation (more of a straighter stroke) or are
looking to reduce the amount of face rotation in their stroke. For
golfers who tend to miss putts to the left (face-balanced putters
will encourage the face to stay more square/open at impact). |
