Please use the size guideline below to get the best fit. If the caps are too big they may come off prematurely so weighing your pet is important.

Application is simple. Just fill each nail cap 1/3 full with the adhesive provided & slide it over the nail. Then simply observe your pet for 5 minutes while the adhesive dries. It's that easy!

Cats use their front paws to scratch and cause damage so there is no need to cap their back claws. The nail cap will come off naturally when your cat sheds their nail, about every 4-6 weeks. 8 complete applications of nail caps can last you up to one year of full protection. We include extra adhesive in these complete kits.

Kitten: Less than 6 months old

These will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months).

Small: Approximately 6 months old / 6-8 pounds

Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast or are large-breed cats. Small-boned adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average full-grown cat, choose small.

Medium: Approximately 9-13 pounds

Most adult average size cats wear medium.

Large: Approximately 14 pounds and up

Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large.
