Our journey began in 2017 and we pride ourselves on selecting and stocking coastal style products that are beautiful, high quality, but also serve a purpose.  By handpicking all of our products in-house, our team has increased and expanded our selection of handcrafted & sustainably sourced products. There's a story behind everything we sell - from the artisan who crafts it to the individual who uses it! 

Here at Iluka Beach we also have a strong focus on our planet and minimizing our impact through our artisan produced handmade products, limiting plastic packaging, recycling almost all our packaging & waste materials.

All our handmade, hammocks and hammock chairs are delivered to you FREE by DHL Express worldwide*.

* Please Note: Some worldwide postcodes outside of major town areas are considered remote area by DHL and will be passed on to a local courier to be delivered and may incur a small extra surcharge for delivery AU $40. We will notify you if this is the case.

Once ordered, we aim to have the order to you within 10-12 business days consisting of:

3-5 days to produce your hammock by hand

+ 5-7 business days express shipping to your address by DHL.

Some items may be shipped from different locations and will arrive separately.

LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

In the event of Loss in transit or damaged in transit which is rare, we will take responsibility for it.  Please contact us to arrange return of the damaged item or let us know if your order has not arrived in the above time frames.

We love returns because we want you to be happy with your purchase! If the item isn’t the right size or style or doesn’t fit please return the item within 60 days for full refund, credit or exchange this includes sale items! (exclude items marked and sold as seconds). The refund amount you receive will be for the amount paid for the items returned and does not include the postage charges.  Any questions please contact us.

No Hassle Returns guarantee is an easy process where we provide you with a flat rate $9.95 prepaid shipping label that you will simply attached to the repacked items you wish to return. The prepaid label is FREE for your first return to us.  The First Free Return offer is only available for returns within Australia. 

Subsequent returns, we will deduct the $9.95 return shipping cost from your refund amount.  

If you need to return an item we do require the following conditions to be met:

- the returned product(s) to be in unused, new condition, meaning not used, worn, or washed and in the original packaging with all labels attached..

- Please take care when posting the item back to us.  Please use the packing material the item was sent with and ensure the products are packed sufficiently to avoid damage in shipping the product back to us.

- An additional handling fee may be deducted from your refund for any items that are not returned to us in the original packaging or in original condition.  Inadequate packing for shipment back to us is included.

PAYPAL'S REFUNDED RETURNS

Any buyers with a Paypal account can also activate Paypal's Refunded Returns service on your Paypal account prior to purchasing to receive up to AU $45 from Paypal on return shipping costs for up to 8 eligible Paypal purchases. You will need to  submit a photo of the item returned and a copy of your receipt to Paypal within 30 days of return. Simply search for this offer on the Paypal Australia website for all the details and conditions.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS:

Buyers outside of Australia are responsible for return postage costs which will be deducted from your refund amount. 

Customers outside of Australia who wish to return product/s will incur a postage fee that will be deducted from your refund or store credit.  We do have a US address available to accept returns from customers in USA or Canada at a lower cost.  

Paypal's Refunded Returns
Any buyers with a Paypal account can also activate Paypal's Refunded Returns service on your Paypal account prior to purchasing to receive a refund (up to a certain amount approximately AU$45 or US$30) on return shipping costs for up to 8-12 eligible Paypal purchases (depending on country). You will need to submit a photo of the item returned and a copy of your receipt to Paypal within 30 days of return. Simply search for this offer on your local Paypal website for all the details and conditions.

FAULTY ITEMS

We pride ourselves on our quality products and packaging and hope you never receive a faulty item from us.  If you have received an item you believe is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the item for a replacement (if available), store credit or a refund.  Our team will also assist with arranging the return of the item if necessary.  You may also be required to send us photos of the damage. 

If the product has become of unacceptable quality due to any of the below reasons, we will not refund or replace a product:

- fair wear and tear
- misuse or failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
- using it in an abnormal way
- buyer did not take reasonable care of the product

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an item please contact us to let us know what item you would like instead so we can hold it for you until your returned item is received.  Our team will provide you with a $9.95 prepaid return shipping label (free for your first return within Australia). Your new item will be shipped to you and subject to the normal shipping charges specified in the listing for the item. 

REFUND PROCESS

Once we receive the returned items, we will fully refund you the amount you paid for the item less any cost for shipping the items to you.

For international customers we will also deduct the return shipping cost from the amount that you paid.

Any refund is made back to the payment option you chose with your original order.

Our customer service department will respond to eBay messages within 24 hours.
