**Welcome To Tone Man Guitar**

Tone Man Guitar prewired kits will improve your guitars performance.  Notes are open, tighter and have more clarity.  Tone / Volume controls are smoother and responsive.  Our kits are custom hand wired with pride and quality. Just like they were back in the 50s and 60s.

Our 59 ES335 series is our best.  Using K40Y aged Paper-In-Oil tone caps for that famous 59 tone.  Same clean warm clarity as our blues kit with increased sustainability.  Excellent clean jazzy tone with the 59.  These caps are equal too or better than Bumble Bees.  You will hear and feel the difference. Works well with all genres of music.  Jazz, Blues and Rock.

This kit is for

Gibson or Epiphone ES335 style. Plus ES330, ES345, Casino, ES339. Be sure and check component distance measurements, f hole size below and compare to your guitar.  If you have a similar guitar that has the output jack located on the bottom of the guitar please add a note with the measurement from the switch to the edge of the guitar at jack location.  I will need to extend the output jack wire length.

Sheraton models: These models have a smaller f hole opening and will not allow a full size pot to feed thru. Suggest measuring the widest opening of the f hole before ordering for a Sheraton. Questions please feel free to email me.  We have options for smaller f hole openings.

Tone to Tone 2.5"              Switch to Jack 9"

We add an additional 1/2 to 1 inch extra wire run between components for installation flexibility.

I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting.  The very best taper available.  These pots are 18 teeth coarse spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on.  Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine.  We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

Need knobs?  Go to our eBay store. Select category knobs on left side.

Knob requirement: This kit uses coarse spline 18 teeth knobs.  We sell knobs.

Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.)  you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings.  Email me with questions.

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and the output jack.  A 25 – 30 watt soldering iron is recommended.  Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation.  I can not be responsible if you damage a unit.

Each harness is custom built after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 5 to 10 business days.  In stock means I have the parts to build.  You will receive a notice with USPS tracking number once shipped.
