Air Ace Vol. 3 (1946) #3 VG-, Flying in the Future!, Hard to find. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with tanning at the edges, mostly supple but I note some brittleness, in excellent condition (I note one page has an ~2 inch tear at the top outer corner that is nearly detached, and the opposite page has a small closed tear in the top outer edge, page 1 has a small chip in the bottom edge and bottom corner, page 2 has a small chip in the bottom corner and a bend in the bottom edge that is about to break off, page 3 has a piece missing from the bottom edge and outer corner, page 4 has a small piece missing from the bottom corner, later pages have a very small piece missing from the corner), center page firmly attached but half of the top staple is broken off. Spine wear, small chip and ~5/8 inch split at top of spine, chip or chew at bottom of spine, ~3/4 inch tear at bottom of spine, very small bends and chips along top edge, shadowing along right edge, small bends in right edge, small chips in bottom right edge/corner, small bend with tears in bottom edge, back cover has minor edge wear and shadowing, other general wear consistent with the grade (see scans).


Calling All Boys (1946) #6 VG+. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white, supple and in excellent condition (number written in pencil on first interior page), center page firmly attached. Spine wear, tiny chip at top of spine, small chip at bottom of spine, staples are rusted but there is no migration on the inner pages, creasing at upper right corner, finger bends in right edge, outer corners are rounded, subscription crease down the center (see scans).


Fast Fiction (1949 Seaboard) #4 FN+ The 39 Steps. Professionally graded.Pages are off-white, supple and in excellent condition, center page firmly attached. Minor edge wear, minor spine wear (see scans). Overall an excellent copy. 

  

Heroic Comics (1940) #45 FN+. Professionally graded.Pages are off-white to lightly tanned at the edges, supple and in excellent condition. Diagonal crease across top of cover, spine stress (see scans).

 

Lance O’Casey Mighty Midget (1943 Miniature) #12 VF-. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white, supple and in excellent condition, center page firmly attached. Spine wear, ~1 inch spine split at top, edge wear, the printer did not do a great job aligning the pages so they are cut very close at the outer edge sometimes affecting the words on the outside edge of ~6 pages (see scans). 


Lance O’Casey (1946 Fawcett) #2 FN+. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with very light tanning at the edges, supple and in excellent condition, centerfold firmly attached but starting to come loose at top staple. Small chip at bottom of spine, very light edge wear, small closed tear on bottom edge of back cover at the spine (see scans). Overall an excellent copy. 

 

Marge’s Tubby (1953) #12 VG+. Professionally graded.Pages are white to off-white, supple and in excellent condition, center page detached at bottom staple. Spine wear, vertical crease near spine, staples rusted but no staining, small dings at top and bottom of spine, overall wear consistent with the grade (see scans). 


Men’s Adventures (1951 Marvel/Atlas) #7 VG+. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with very light tanning at the edges, supple and in excellent condition, center page firmly attached. Spine wear, tearing at staples but both are still attached to the cover, tiny ding at bottom of spine, small tear at top of spine, minor edge wear, ink store stamp across front cover (at "ntu") and at top of center pages that goes very slightly into the panels on each side, light discoloration on back cover, cover is slightly miscut as seen on the back, other very minor wear consistent with the grade and this might be graded on the low side (see scans). Overall a very nice copy and hard to find in this condition.

Real Sports Comics (1948) #1 VG-. Professionally graded. Pages are off-white with dark tanning at the edges, supple and in excellent condition (I note a light water stain that affects the outer edge and bottom right corner of all interior pages but has essentially no effect on the panels), center page firmly attached. Spine wear, small chip at top of spine, small chip at bottom of spine with an ~1 inch tear just above it (see scan of back cover), light “X” in the first “S” of title, “VOL. I. No. I.” written above ‘OCT.-NOV.”, chipping along right edge including a long narrow chip next to the ring post, small piece missing from bottom right corner. Back cover: tanning along edges, water stain as noted above, ~1 inch long narrow chip in left edge, small chip below that in left edge, piece missing from bottom left corner, bump at bottom right corner (see scans).
