Here is a very clean and unique ASAHI Pentax Spotmatic SP - perfect for any collection.

About as close to mint condition as you are likely to find, with the only issue being the dent on the forward part of the prism housing. (These can easily be changed if you have another one)

The Spotmatic SP was manufactured between July 1964 and January 1974.

What makes this camera unique is that every so often, Asahi would come out with a different look to jazz up its cameras. It was a marketing gimmick, but consumers and collectors quickly acquired them. These were limited editions and today are rare finds and considered to be prized collectibles.

There was also a gold plated version of the Spotmatic. There was also a zebra looking cover that replaced the traditional black leather. This camera has a knurled or bumpy mustard colored leather cover.

Everything appears to work as designed.

Comes complete with the f/1.8 55mm SMC Takumar and cap.

The lens is in outstanding condition with no fungus or cloudiness.
