Our Classic LP series uses orange drop tone caps with Bourns Pro Audio pots giving you improved overall modern tone performance.  Our most economical upgrade.  Good for all genres of music.

All Epiphone LP's, USA Gibson LP manufactured prior to 1977 and most off shore built LP using short shaft pots.

What’s In The Classic Pre-wired Kit:

• 50’s wiring for the very best vintage tone.
• Bourns Pro Audio 500K short shaft coarse spline 18 teeth audio taper pots Brass Bushings 15% tolerance
• Orange Drop .022uf bridge .022uf neck tone cap. Smaller physical size now for a better fit in cavity
• Tone cap cloth lead insulation to prevent short outs
• 3" shrink insulation tubing for jack lead to prevent short outs
• Gavitt 22awg vintage cloth push back wire for pot connection grounding.
• Switchcraft 3 way toggle switch prewired wire with black tip.
• Switchcraft 1/4 jack for sold rock connection.
• Assembled template hard board.  Note the template does not get installed.  Only used to assure correct component spacing when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the installation easier.
• 50’s Wiring diagram and easy to read step by step installation instructions.
• Every kit goes thru our Performance and Accuracy Testing procedures before being shipped out.  Our kits work. 

Each harness is custom hand assembled after purchase so my lead time to build your kit before shipping is 5 to 10 business days depending on my back log of kits.  In stock quantity means I have the parts to build that quantity of kits.  You will receive a USPS Ship Tracking number once shipped.

I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting.  The very best taper available.  These pots are 18 teeth coarse spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on.  Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine.  We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

If you have an imported / outside of USA manufactured guitar you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the full size Bourns pots. Your installation instructions will cover this.
