This paperweight is made from a real Aston Martin wheelspinner. The wheelspinner is the screw which originally fastened the wheel to the axle but nowadays it is more decorative. The wheelspinner played an important role in several James Bond movies, most notably when the Aston Martin DB5's wheelspinner slashed the villain's tyres.
