Pajarito Anaranjado

In Mexico, Talavera tile is rich in tradition and history, and has become the perfect example of the blending of cultures and history to create art. Dating as far back as the 15th century, Mexican Talavera is shaped by a fusion of cultures consisting of Mexican, Spanish, Arabic, and Italian. The colors of Talavera are bright and festive, although traditional Talavera is made using only six colors, those being dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, and black. Overtime different regions of Mexico have created their own visions of Talavera, depicting the colors of their region. Our Mexican Talavera tile is hand crafted and hand painted by experienced and passionate artisans, making each piece individually unique.

Our Talavera is hand crafted and hand painted, therefore no two pieces will be completely identical; this quality is what makes Talavera tile so unique and beautiful. Using only one piece or incorporating different Talavera pieces and designs, you can create your own unique work.
