This is an original antique map of the town of Williamstown, Vermont, from the Atlas of Orange County, Vermont, published by F. W. Beers & Co., in 1877. Hand colored. Approximately 12.5 inches by 16.5 inches.

Most houses on the map are identified by the property owners' names. In some cases, the number of acres owned is also shown.

Also identified on the map: Schoolhouses, Churches, Parsonages, Cemeteries, Saw Mills, Mill Village, Steavens Branch brook, Mail and Stage Route, Williamstown Spring House, Medicinal Spring, The Gulf, Wheel Shop, Lime Pond, Paint Shop, Oak Tree, Staples Pond, Tannery, Cutters Pond, etc.

Condition: Paper is age-browned, otherwise good. See all scans. This map is a little bigger than my oversized scanner, so have scanned it two ways so you can see that all margins exist.

This interesting old map will make a great addition to any Williamstown, Vermont, home or office.

Maps are mailed flat, by Priority Mail, in a 200 lb test corrugated folder, on a 200 lb test corrugated backer board, in a clear plastic acid-free sleeve, to be sure it gets to its new home safely.

A scan of the title page of the atlas this map was taken from is included to show the source of the map. The title page is NOT included with this auction.
