Brass Fantasia Tray , made in Israel.
Decorated with a hound dog chasing a hare / rabbit.
Signed " Fantasia " on the rear , with " Made In Israel."
About 6 3/4" wide ( about 17 cm ).
Appears to be a mid century piece.
Possibly an ash tray - though there are no slots on the sides, so maybe this was made as a tray for coins , trinkets , etc.
Condition as seen in the photos.

The symbol of a hare chased by a dog is unusual in Jewish art , though it does appear in the frieze mosaic pavements of the ancient Beth She'an ( Beit Shean ) synagogue and at Kissufim in Israel , and the Gerasa synagogue in Jordan.
