This adapter lets you mount Kowa 66 MF lens onto Sony E mount cameras including A7 , NEX and FS series.
We carry two Kowa MF 66 lens adapters. One that has shutter actuator built in and one without. This one is without. Please read the below details on how to use it.
1. On rear of lens, if both leads are near RED dot, you don't need to do anything. If not, please do the below step.
2. Hold both red leads on the rear of the lens and turn it counter clock wise until if you here the click sound.
3. This opens up the lens shutter and you can see through the lens.
4. There is a preset like button on top of lens to engage the aperture. You need to hold onto it when you lower aperture.
5. If you prefer aperture to stay at your settings, you need to buy the other adapter where shutter actuator is built in.
6. If you look at the adapter, the pin area is already carved out and hence pins stay where they are.
Due to small quantity custom makes, there could be some cosmetic issues but that will not affect functionality.
