T-70 1864 $2 CSA Confederate States of America Note, PCGS 63 PPQ Choice New
This is an authentic Confederate States of America $2 note issued on Feb. 17, 1864 in Richmond, Virginia. This example of a rare Confederate note has a large “2” in the center and a portrait of CSA cabinet member, Judith Benjamin, on the bottom right. This note was printed on plain paper with pinkish red and black ink on the front and a blank back side.
Our example has been graded by PCGS and determined to be in Choice New 63 PPQ (Premium Paper Quality) condition.
