The following article is in the “Personality” format and is titled Admiral Of The Fleet Prince Philip.  This story follows the wartime career of Prince Philip.

P-47 Thunderbolt Recovery is a short 2 page article on the wreck recovery of a P-47 Thunderbolt which crashed in a meadow whilst on a test flight from USAAF’s Base Air Depot at Burtonwood, Lancashire.

Another short (4 page) article follows titled The Keele Air Photo Library.  It is a collection of vertical reconnaissance aerial photographs taken over what was for long “Enemy-occupied Europe” with the exception of territory that used to belong to the Warsaw Pact.

Under the “War Films” format the making of Patton is covered.  This was an in-depth screen portrait of the most controversial and successful commander of World War II.

Linked to the previous article is a 2 page feature under the format “Where Are They Now” which looks at where Patton’s vehicles are today.
