INS-1 neon bulbs are perfect for Nixie Clocks as colon separators. They also can be used for any other application that requires small and nicely glowing light. The tube has a diameter of 6.5 mm and a length of 28 mm. (without leads).

Firing voltage ranges from      65V to 90V
Working current is typically around 0.5mA

These tubes can be used for 110V and 220V AC. To do this, you need to use a series resistance of 0.5-1W:

110V ~ 150 - 200 kOhm

                    220V ~ 350 - 500 kOhn
