Treat yourself, or a loved one to a beautiful fly tying organizer! These are made of environmentally sustainable solid Poplar hardwood. Each one is hand-crafted, one at a time, by a retired school teacher/administrator and addicted fly fisherman. They now hold 73 spools of thread/floss/wire!! They have a large compartment for fly tying cement, Clear Cure Goo, Flexament etc. It also has 16 tool holders. Beautiful, full color brown trout graphic on one side, rainbow trout on the other side. I can also substitute striped bass, tarpon, barracuda, bonefish or any other fish you choose. Base is felt covered so it won't scratch your desktop. Cork strip hold flies as they dry. A`magnetic strip keeps extra hooks from getting lost while you tie. 4 coats of polished lacquer will keep it looking new for years of use. The dimensions are 17.5" wide x 13" deep x 3.5" high.
Don't spend up to $250 for mass produced, imported (Ebay, Bass Pro, Sportsman Warehouse, Cabelas) organizers with ridiculous, pretentious features you don't need!! If you would rather spend your money fishing than on Brazilian walnut inserts, and hand rubbed Tahitian bee's wax lacquer, you're my kind of person!! These organizers are selling for way over $140 in several fly shops.
After getting feedback from fly shops and customers I have improved this already awesome organizer!! It now holds 73 thread spools (instead of 64) and has a large, cork-lined storage compartment for head cements, glues, epoxies, UV lights, etc. The overall dimensions are the same, it just holds more spools, glues, and tools than before!! It is also accepts the standard 3/8" vise stem in the pre-drilled holes on the left and right side!!

Occasionally I produce a unit with small cosmetic flaws. Woodworking is not an exact art! The flaw in no way affects the intended use of the organizer and many times will be invisible when you have it loaded with your fly tying threads and tools. But since it is not perfect, I will sell these "flawed" units at a bit of a discount. Send me a message if you are interested in one of these units. I'll try to send pic of the flaw. Believe me, these are NOT major flaws and you might not have even noticed them unless I pointed them out! The last 3 pics are things I consider flaws. A joint that is not perfect, or a cut line that still shows. As I said, not major flaws!

Several buyers did not want the magnetic strip so from 12/25/2022 forward, the strips will be included but not placed on the unit. If you choose, just peel the back and place it wherever works for you!
