The Antiphonary is a handcrafted, hardbound 1:12 scale miniature reproduction containing selected pages of a 16^th century Antiphonary from Flanders in 1507.  An antiphonary is a book containing antiphons which are psalms, anthems or verses sung responsively as part of the church liturgy.  This volume consists of 46 pages not including the colorful end sheets and measures 1 inch wide by 1 ¼ inch long by 5/16 inch thick 

The pages are printed on 20 pound 92 brightness paper. The covers are printed on 20 pound 92 brightness paper over 110 pound cardstock to maintain the proper scale. The books are constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books.  I personally make each book.  My miniature books are not intended for children and are not toys. THE QUARTER IN THE PHOTO MEASURES .955 INCHES OR 24.26 MM. THE PICTURE IS LARGE TO ENABLE CLOSE VIEWING OF THE BOOK DETAILS.
