the extremely detailed 1965 Dodge Coronet altered wheelbase AFX style die cast Mopar drag car, as first driven by DAVE STRICKLER when carburated.

Differences from the injected car is of course the large Dodge logo on the roof - that was only on the carburated car, plus it has plain white wheels on the back, and of course the nicely detailed cross-ram 426 Hemi (fully wired & plumbed). The single seat race interior is very detailed with gauges in the dash, a roll bar, parachute pull handle, and cloth seat belts. One more difference is the class lettering on the windshield & drivers door glass - that this one has.

This is one very cool 1:18 scale Mopar (yet Chevy guys may want it too) produced by Die Cast Promotions / Highway 61, and is special made as a Limited Edition for Supercar Collectibles. This is also the smallest run of cars in the batch, with just 402 produced. The below photo shows the windshield lettering...

The trunk also does open to see the large trunk battery mounted back there (battery cables too) and the chassis has the moved forward front X-member, a rotating driveshaft, and real "metal" leaf springs.

Brand new in new box.
