Our earbuds have 4 pole connectors & a microphone so you can talk through it during a phone call or video chat The 3 pole earbuds do not include microphones. (see 2nd picture)

Please note: One side of the earbud is about 12" longer than the other side. That's actually by design, to line up the microphone piece closer to the mouth, for clearer voice transmission & recording.
