The Independent State of Croatia (Serbo-Croatian: Nezavisna Država Hrvatska, NDH), was a World War II client state of Germany and Italy, which was established in parts of Axis-occupied Yugoslavia.
This definitive stamp depicting the Croatian Poglavnik (Leader, "Führer"), Ante Pavelić, was issued on 13th June 1943.
The same design was used again later in the year for a full set of definitive values.
