This pack contains 8 individual mounts to fully equip your Gen8 Scout, all you'll need is a few bolts and some magnets. These magnet mounts will make your RC life so much easier! Lose the Velcro that comes stock with the Gen8 Scout and equip these mounts with some strong rare earth magnets to hold your body on. These mounts do require drilling a hole in each of your fenders to accommodate the m2 bolt that secures the mount. If you don't want to drill adhesive tape or glue will work to secure the magnet mount but the magnets might pull it free.
This pack doesn't come with mounting hardware or magnets.
Required hardware: x8 m2x6mm or m2x8mm bolts, x8 m2 nuts
Required Magnets: 15mm x 2mm rare earth magnets. The body was held on fairly well using only one magnet in each mount but with 2 in each it really stays on!
If you'd like to use a different size magnet or bolt for attaching this mount please let us know, custom sizing is available!
These mounts are 3D printed so they are lightweight and very sturdy.
