the freehub body alone is RRP c. 15 - 17 rrp. from a lot of online bike shops

these hubs are built for mountain bike (130)  or road bikes (126) and are double sealed on either side,  - good for training/commuting road bikes / mtb / touring etc.
I've seen many of these still on 90s bikes still going strong after much abuse.

front HB-RM50
rear FH-HG50

130mm OLN  (ostensibly the MTB variation) - but will space down to 126mm or up to 135mm easily on the present axle which is 140mm long end to end
100mm OLN on front
32h front and rear
QR - Require skewers

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

they never came as part of a single group-set per se but were used with many sets - particularly the higher end Exage stuff like the EX 500

this means these are of the HG-50 quality just below the Deroe LX of the day  (nowadays that equates to c.Deore/Tigara/RX100 level i'm pretty sure and being 90s Japanese Shimano, they will be of much better quality than the newer Malaysian stuff they are pumping out today. )

rear is for 7 speed shimano hyperglide cassettes non compact (will take cogs dwon to 12t, but not 11t) it has the hyperglide threads to fit the HG lockring
and as it's early HG stuff,  it also has the thread on the start of splines so will accommodate 7 speed uniglide stuff too (5 and 6 speed too with spacer i'd have thought)

these will also be a great way to refresh tired hubs (if your shells and cups are OK ) if you don't want to rebuild wheels , the freehub, cones, axles, bearings etc. will fit most shimano hubs of the age (i'e after uniglide but before parallax - send me details of your hubs if you're not sure )

NOS -  but have been stored briefly in a box with other hubs, so possibly  minor marks.

note: these were OEM hubs and are exactly as they left the production line  - they were not given a whole lot of grease - i'd suggest putting in more grease and then setting the cones as per this (whether that means tightening or loosening them - almost certainly loosen them off after putting more grease):

http://sheldonbrown.com/cone-adjustment.html read particularly "particularly "Quick-Release Hub adjustment" - proper adjustment for QR axles means it should have a small amount of play in the hub off the bike!
