The Epson Perfection 640U is fully automated with easy one-touch scanning. The plug-and-play USB connection makes setup a breeze, and a three-button interface is simple to learn.

The 640U's 600 x 2,4000 DPI resolution and 36-bit color depth produce images rich in color and clarity. Scanning speed is a nimble 16 msec/line for full color and 5.3 MSEC/Line for Gray Level.

The 640U comes with a software bundle including Perfection 640U Scanner Software CD-ROM for Macintosh, Perfection 640U Scanner Software CD-ROM for Windows and Disc Vol 1: Online Guide. The 640U is compatible with PC and Mac computers. It measures 21.2 by 6.1 by 15.2 inches and weighs 10.16 pounds and comes with an Epson Scanner Basics Guide.
