For those who are interested in the interesting history in the 1970-1973 minitalia bricks feel free to read on. During the 1970s, the Lego company wasn't allowed to import their current lego part molds to Italy, so they introduced a lighter plastic and different mold of the brick just for Italian sets. The import issue was solved around 3 years later, and since then lego has been to import their normal bricks you see today.

That three year time coverage makes these bricks extremely rare and a near impossibility on American markets. I was lucky enough to get one of these older sets, and I'm more than happy to share them to the fellow Lego collector's on eBay to add to their collections as a one of a kind historic brick.

Thanks for reading if you made it all the way through. If you believe these are just knock-off bricks I'm trying to sell, I greatly encourage you to research "Lego Minitalia bricks" and learn some more yourself.
