UPS-Lite is a UPS power supply specially designed for Raspberry Pi Zero (hereinafter referred to as pi).
It is powered by a 1000mAh polymer lithium battery, supports external power insertion detection, and supports charging and discharging. When the external power source is plugged in, the pi is powered by the external power source. When the external power source is unplugged, the pi seamlessly switches to the lithium battery. The UPS-Lite is connected to the pi main board through 5 elastic thimble pins (the pi main board must be soldered with a 40-pin header), and the pi power supply and power reading function are completed through the thimble. In addition, UPS-Lite also integrates the professional fuel gauge chip MAX17040G, two-color charging status indicator

It is recommended to use a power adapter with a power of 5V2A and above to charge the UPS-Lite. Because when the lithium battery is low, the external power adapter not only needs to supply power to the pi, but also needs to provide part of the current to charge the lithium battery. During charging, the charging status indicator is red, indicating that the battery is charging. When the lithium battery is fully charged, the charging status indicator will turn green, indicating that the battery is fully charged. In addition, UPS-Lite has an external power adapter plug-in detection function, which can judge whether the external power supply is plugged in by the high and low level of the GPIO port. When the power supply is plugged in, the io4 (BCM number) of the pi will detect a high level. Low level, to enable the detection function, you must short the two pads on the back of the UPS, and set the GPIO to the floating input state. If the pads are not shorted, the GPIO detection state is unstable
