Platinum 1250 Rectangular Single Skin Oil Tank is designed for the storage of heating oil or kerosene in

domestic installations.
Platinum Single Skin Oil Tanks are manufactured from UV stabilised medium grade polyethylene
and are supplied with 1" BSP outlets. The tanks should be installed on a firm flat surface
supporting the entire base of the tank; this base should extend 300mm on all sides.

Single Skin Tanks

Please note, if the oil tank is to be situated within

  • 50 metres of a well, borehole or spring,
  • 10 metres of controlled water e.g. open drain, manhole cover, river, stream or lake
    or:
    • if the tank's vent is not visible from its fill point
    • if the capacity exceeds 2500 litres
    •   if any potential spillage could run over ground into controlled waters

Then the Tank MUST be bunded
