Antique 19th c. Old Sheffield silver plate on copper cheese serving dish & cover.  Octagonal shape with gadrooned edge and wooden handle.  The lid is designed to be detachable on it's hinge.  Good condition - minor dents.  Tarnished - will polish nicely. Measures 10 1/2" x 7 1/2"; with handle measures 10 1/2" x 14 1/4.  Nice heavy weight.  Please view our other auctions.
