Dedicated to the freshwater starfish of the bottom fish of the family of carp - dated to the Dnieper, disappearing species, endemic basins of the Dnieper and Southern Bug, entered in the Red Book of Ukraine and the European Red List.
On the obverse of the coin in the wreath frame, formed from images of certain species of flora and fauna, the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 2018.
On the reverse of the coin is depicted on a mirrored background - the Dnieper plain on a stylized river bed and semicircular inscriptions: MARINA DNIPROVSKA (above), BARBUS BORYSTHENICUS (below).
