In 1998 the Royal Canadian Mint/Monnaie Royale Canadienne launched “Create a Centsation!”, a Millennium/Millenaire Coin Design Contest that invited Canadians to design one of 24 bilingual commemorative 25-cent circulation coins that would be minted each month from 1999 to 2000. This is The Time Traveller, the mascot image of the Royal Canadian Mint’s Centsation contest. Scarce issue, rarely offered or seen.
