OO, LIMA, PTA Wagon NEM Coupling converters

These are strictly for Lima Wagons only!

We are aware Hornby have made a similar wagon, however they have used bigger wheels, meaning this moves the position of the pocket, meaning Kadee / Tension Lock heights would be higher on the Hornby model.

You can change the Hornby wagon's wheels to a smaller type which would bring it to the correct height.

This item is a sample, which includes 16x pockets, so if your sort of a few or just want to try some.
These are 3D Printed in resin, so can be fragile if dropped.

- Instructions -
Remove the bogie from your wagon, please check you have the LIMA version before you start or the wheel sizes below.
Remove the coupling hook by unclipping it from the bogie. Remove the extension forwards from the bogie leaving the cross beam of the bogie.
Clean up with files, remove your NEM pocket from runner with cutters or sharp knife, I would always advise checking NEM pocket height with a tension lock or if you have a Kadee height gauge use this with a Kadee.
When happy take the shine off the plastic surface with a  fiberglass pen and glue in place with some supeglue.

Lima wheel size approx: 11.5mm
Hornby Wheel Size approx: 12.7mm

We don't recommend, older / bigger couplings, or couplings not made RTR manufacturers. All converters are checked before dispatch with Kadee/Hornby/Bachmann tension locks
