A GREAT & ORIGINAL GIFT ITEM!!!

Anti-establishment isn't a word you’d often associate with tea towels, but it's the first one that springs to mind looking at this David Shrigley tea towel. It's made from pure linen and printed — in the artist's typical biting, humorous style — with a green, vomiting figure and child-like 'POLITICIANS MAKE ME SICK' lettering.

Third Drawer Down Studio have collaborated with David Shrigley to create the Politicians Make Me Sick Tea Towel and under the current climate, you may find yourself agreeing with the sentiment. It’s crafted from pure, quick drying linen and features a sickened figure on the front. Whether you concur or not, this piece will definitely be a conversation starter.

David Shrigley lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland where he attended Glasgow School of Art. Shrigley works with drawing, animation, photography and sculpture. His work is marked by a bleak humour that below the surface reveals thoughtful truths about the human condition. The works - at times seemingly frustrated or bordering the absurd - comment either Shrigley's own life or our world in general. Social indignation plays no small part in the creation of the works or in the way that the artist sees his role within society. In addition, Shrigley regularly publishes books with Redstone Press. His most recent publication is Kill Your Pets.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2003, Third Drawer Down is a producer and collaborator of artist-driven gifts and homeware that is filled with irony, intelligence and tongue-in-cheek humor. Originally established as a down-town project producing limited edition homeware prints, the company has grown into a global business that has worked with over 200 international artists. The company are proud to represent a large number of female artists and continues to inspire its customers to challenge gender, race and social barriers though its unique pieces and esteemed collaborations.
