MATTED & FRAMED UNUSED U.S. POSTAGE STAMP OF THE APOLLO 8 FLIGHT TO ORBIT THE MOON WITH BIBLE VERSE

This U.S. postage stamp was issued on May 5 1969 in Houston, Texas.  It honors the launch from Cape Kennedy on December 21, 1968 to put astronauts in orbit  around the moon.  Information learned on this flight led to the eventual landing on the moon.  The stamp shows the famous "Earthrise" photo taken from the moon.  The second picture shows a close up of the stamp. The verse is from Psalms 139: 13-14.  

The stamp is mounted in acid-free plastic and then matted in black. Frame is solid light wood, size is 6 by 8 inches.  It has an easel for standing and hook for hanging.  It comes with written information about the stamp. The Stamp is UNUSED U.S. POSTAGE STAMP.  Free shipping
