Kohler SV540 closure as shown. I purchased the engine partially torn down and in non running condition and can't verify the internal workings of it such as the gear (governor I think) but the cover itself is in good looking condition.

The original owner had removed it from a Kubota Mower due to a hairline crack in the crankcase. I think it was a T1880 but I'm not 100% certain what mower model it was.

Your best bet is to verify the Kohler part number shown in the pictures matches your current cover's part number. If this was in fact removed from a T1880 the Kubota part number shows an average price of $258.32 USD for a new one.
