Classic Art Deco composition underscores this nude study by the historically significant photographer well known for his ground breaking photographs of the Ziegfeld Follies Girls and his iconic fashion images. Today Alfred Cheney Johnston's work is held in numerous important collections and museums throughout the world and his vintage work in any form is sought after by a growing collector base. This vintage photo engraving was originally issued as part of a now rare photo engraved compilation released in 1937 and engraved by master engraver David Corker of the Beck Engraving Company for Alfred Cheney Johnston. This is a lovely art deco image and will frame up nicely for display.
