Description:
- Complete plumb bob for the Construction of the First Half of the XXI Century, with bronze weight and threaded head.
- Short size and large diameter thread, with medium pitch and thread.
- The shape of its body is cylindrical, with a cone at the lower base and a threaded hole at the upper base, into which the bolt of its head is screwed.
- The shape of its head is a sphere, with a hexagon at its base, from which protrudes a threaded bolt for screwing the head to the body. The whole head has a central hole for the rope guide.
- The nut is horizontal, made of solid bronze. It is cylindrical in shape, tapering in the middle, so that the rope can be wound onto it. The nut has a perforation perpendicular to it's axis, and in it's centre, to guide the rope.
- Along the length of the body, there are two subtle deep grooves, creating a harmonious overall effect.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the Weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
- The quality of the bronze casting and the execution of the plumb bob is good.

Descripción:
- Plomada completa para la Construcción de la Primera Mitad del S.XXI, con Pesa de bronce y cabeza roscada.
- Rosca de tamaño corto y de diámetro grande, con filete y paso mediano.
- La forma de su cuerpo es cilíndrica, con un cono en su base inferior y una perforación roscada en la base superior, en la que se enrosca el bulón de su cabeza.
- La forma de su cabeza es una esfera, con un hexágono en su base, de la que sobresale un bulón roscado para enroscar la cabeza al cuerpo. Toda la cabeza tiene una perforación central para la guía de la cuerda.
- La nuez es horizontal, de bronce macizo. Su forma es cilíndrica, reduciéndose en su parte central, con el objeto de poder enrollar la cuerda en él. La Nuez tiene una perforación perpendicular a su eje, y en su centro, para la guía de la cuerda.
- A lo largo del cuerpo tiene torneadas dos canaladuras de sutil profundidad, consiguiendo un armonioso efecto de conjunto.
- No se ha localizado ningún distintivo, marca o contraste, que pueda facilitar datos del sitio en que se fabricó, datos del fabricante, así como otros datos.
- Probablemente la Plomada esté realizada en el sur de Europa.
Conservación y desperfectos:
- La Plomada se encuentran en buen estado de conservación, teniendo la Pesa muchos, pero muy pequeños golpes y roces.
- La calidad de la fundición del bronce, y de la ejecución de la Plomada, es buena.
- La plomada está sin estrenar.
- La Plomada presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo.
