Großartige, burmesische Dha. Die Dah ist  die nationale Blankwaffe in Burma, heute Myanmar und den angrenzenden Staaten. Eine typische Waffe der Völker aus dem goldenen Dreieck.

Das Heft ist aus Bein hergestellt, die Klinge ist aus handgeschmiedetem Eisen.

Das Eisen ist altersentsprechend gut erhalten mit den entsprechenden Korrosionsspuren.

Ein schönes, authentisches Stück das ich vor 40 Jahren aus einer skandinavischen Sammlung erworben habe.

Die Machart verweist auf eine Entstehung Mitte des 19 Jhdts.

Awsome dha from Burma.The dha is the national dagger of Burma or Myanmar how ist is called today. A typical work of art of the people of the golden triangel. . 

The handel is carved of heavy bone, the blade is of hand forged iron. 

For it´s age the iron is in a good condition and has the typical stains of corrosion for this age.

This dha is treally a nice authentic pice, I collected it 40 years ago from an old scandinavian collection. 

The manner of production relate it to the midth of the 19th century.
