Dedicated unique natural object, one of the largest sandy massifs of Europe, nearly 150 km in length, a width of about 30 km - Oleshkivski sands (Kherson region). This gritty neighborhood with preserved rare plant and animal groups of rare, endemic and relict species in 2010 declared a national park.
The obverse of the coin against the light background desert landscape with traces of man (left) are: the above - the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, under which the inscription UKRAINE; right mintage year - 2015; below face value - 2 / hryvnia and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse against the light background desert landscape shows a lizard in a semicircle at the top - the inscription Oleshkivski sands.
