2021 BU finish 50 cent coin - Centennial of Canada's coat of arms image

This 2021 50 cent coin is minted in brilliant uncirculated finish and is taken from a mint roll. This coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of Canada's coat of arms--George V proclaimed this in 1921. This coin has the date 2021 on the reverse. The 1937 fifty cent piece was the first coin to feature the new coat of arms image and the George VI effigy is on that coin so it reappears here on this commemorative 50 cent coin. It is 27.13 mm in diameter and weighs 6.9 grams. It is minted in 3 ply nickel finish plated steel. Your coin will be protected in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder.
