NOS Stella Azzurra Tecno SPUGNA PISTA density in sunflower yellow. If you can think of the yellow colour associated with a sunflower, then you know the shade of yellow this tape has been made in (regardless of what the camera flash might have done to the pics)!
Made by Bike Ribbon in Italy, this tape is NOS in mint condition. It comes boxed and is ready to wrap!
Couple of things to note about this tape. The pista reference means that the tape is the thinnest density. When wrapped it really does come up thin! In the past this has appealed to time triallists, hill climb specialists and just people who like maximum feedback. It is best to consider this as a specialist tape!
The other thing to note is the length of the tape. This tape is 150cm long...whcih is 25cm shorter than the Tecno Spugna Corsa (road) density and the Tecno Spugna Pave density which I have listed at present. This means that it is a great tape for wrapping shorter parts of the bars, but is not intended to be wrapped with standard width road bike bars with added brake levers all the way to the stem! Feels a bit odd, but back in 2002 when I first came across this model of the Tecno Spugna tape it seemed to make sense to me.
These are my very final rolls of tape for me to add. Once I have added the other colourway in the Tecno Spugna Pista then that is absolutely everything "tape related" listed!
