Here we have a shell  from the Muricidae family of sea snails (see photos). The taxonomic identification of this shell is "Murexsul Zeteki" identified under the authority of Hertlein& Strong 1951. The shell was trawled from Pedro Gonzales Is., Panama 1974. It has an operculum attached to the bottom opening of the shell indicating that it was a live catch (see photos). It measures about 15mm long. This would make a great addition to any shell collection for display or conversational pieces. Pick this wonderful shell up today!!!
