When I was growing up my love of paperdolls was nurtured by a grandmother who LOVED cutting them out. After they were cut  I would save them in a nylon stocking box or between pages of a ladies magazine. I  think that fond memory encouraged me to look into making these beautiful framed paperdolls that were so popular many years ago. This 10" x 12" frame, has some pretty detail shown in my pics. The paperdoll has a pleated satin ribbon  skirt with a lace bodice. She has a white bead necklace, a lace hat with tiny roses on it and is holding a ribbon and lace bouquet. The background is paper and the back of the frame is covered in a paper with old receipts printed on it. Please check my pictures as the satin ribbon is new but much of the laces, frames, flowers and other decorations used are vintage. I will be listing others with different colored dresses
