Zone 6 Hardy fig tree cuttings with at least 3 nodes

You will get 3 cuttings.

My orchard is in northern NJ, zone 6.

I've planted over 100 varieties several years ago to select the best varieties that do well in the NJ climate.

Thus, none of my tree is wrapped or mulched. They were exposed to the polar vortex in the past couple of years (0F for 2 weeks). Although they may die back to the ground, they will recover even stronger year after year.

So I have eliminated the varieties naturally that does not survive this test. Furthermore, I eliminated the varieties that do not fruit from the 1st year new shoot, i.e. there will be no fruit to harvest if they die back every year. Lastly, I also eliminate the variety that has large opening or split when ripe (a lot of bugs or rot).

Therefore these remaining varieties not only survive zone 6 without protection, they are also vigorous grower with tasty fruits.
