Unusual antique Wedgwood black basalt oval plaque with a large oval cameo of "Hercules Strangling the Nemean Lion" and five five oval portrait medallions of Congreve, Fletcher, Johnson, Prior and Surrey mounted in a a contemporary ebonized wooden frame. None of the Wedgwood medallions was examined out of the frame and there is no access from the backside. Plaque is in excellent used condition with age
appropriate ware (e.g., minor surface scuffs at the rim of the medallion showing Prior). Please review all the
